Details

Assisting the participants to park in designated areas to ensure all vehicles are parked correctly and do not obstruct the road. Must be able to direct vehicles.

Details

Providing water or Gatorade to participants. Required to set up the aid station and fill cups before runners arrive. Clean up and trash or cups on the ground upon completion. Also, providing communication with the race director. Must be able to walk/run 1.0 mile down the trail to the aid station location.

Location

At the intersection of Beach Trail and USGS Trail, approximately mile 1.0 and 2.3 of the 5k course.

Details

Directing the runners at the first intersection of Beach Trail and the USGS Trail. Also, providing communication with the race director. One course marshal is required, but if you want to be a course marshal with a friend, two is better. Must be able to walk/run 0.8 miles down the trail to the course marshal position.

Approximately 0.8 miles walk from the start of the race.

Directing the runners at the end of Beach Trail onto the Lower Gratitude/Old Shed Road. Also, providing communication with the race director. One course marshal is required, but if you want to be a course marshal with a friend, two is better. Must be able to walk/run 1.8 miles down the trail to the course marshal position.

At the end of Beach Trail, approximately 1.8 miles from the start
