SCHEDULE

Saturday, September 13
  6:15 AM Packet pickup at race site
  8:00 AM 10K race starts
  8:10 AM 5K race starts
  9:00 AM 5K awards start
  9:15 AM 10K awards start
11:00 AM Course closes. 
     10K runners: If you don't think you can finish by 11:00, please register for the 5K instead.
     10K runners who don't complete the course by the cutoff will be given a 5K finish.

COURSE DESCRIPTION

- Course is marked with signs, cones & chalk.
- Turn-by-turn Directions:
-> Starting near the Major Ripley Arnold statue, head west on the paved trails, then use the bridge to cross the river,
-> Get onto the gravel trail heading East. 

-> Take a left turn to follow the gravel trail up to the highlands. Use the grass trails where possible. 
-> Take the paved decent and the asphalt construction detour. Use the low-water crossing to cross the river.
-> At the top of the hill, there's a Water stop, with a volunteer, and a portable toilet
-> Turn left to head Northwest for 0.1 mile. Turn around at the cone.
-> Return to the water stop, and head straight onto the grass.
-> Staying on the North side of the river, follow the grass trail Northeast.
-> Get onto the pavement behind the TCC Trinity River East campus. Follow the pavement to the Finish Line.
- 5K does 1 loop, 10K does 2 loops!

 

SPECTATORS

Your friends and family are welcome to bring chairs and hang out near the finish line to wait for you to come in!

PARKING

  • On-street parking is FREE on weekends. Taylor Street will fill up fast, but there's also parking on Belknap, Weatherford, etc.
  • There is garage parking across from the police station on W Belknap or at the TCC garage on W Belknap.
  • There is parking on the other side of the river on Franklin Street (near Charles H Haws Athletic Center)
