About this Race Series

Earn points at up to ten sprint triathlons in 2016. Highest six races will be calculated for Top 3 Men's & Women's awards in each 5 year age group. Tellico Summer Solstice & Atomic Sprints earn DOUBLE POINTS.

Races: - 4/30 Hammer Sprint Triathlon/Duathlon, Lenoir City - 5/7 Iron Nugget Sprint Triathlon, Dickson - 6/5 Double Dip Sprint Triathlon, Pigeon Forge - 6/18 Tellico Summer Solstice Sprint Triathlon, Lenoir City - 7/23 Sweetwater Sprint Triathlon, Sweetwater - 7/2 Secret City Sprint Triathlon, Oak Ridge - 8/15 Calfkiller Sprint Triathlon, Pikeville - 9/3 Redskin Romp Sprint Triathlon, Loudon - 9/11 Tennova Sprint Triathlon & 10/8 Atomic Sprint Triathlon/Duathlon, Lenoir City

How It Works: Individuals can accumulate points by placing in any one of the overall or age divisions at any of the above listed GRAND PRIX events. The Tellico Summer Solstice & Atomic Sprints earn DOUBLE POINTS. The individual male & female with the most points will receive the Endurance Multi-Sport Athlete Awards. Awards 3 deep in both female and male in each 5 year age groups will be presented shortly after the final event of each series. Awards * All Sprint Grand Prix Age Group Winners will receive recognition & special gift. * Top Male & Female Age Group - One free race entry to a race on the next Sprint Series Grand Prix schedule. Scoring * Individuals can accumulate points by placing in each 5 year age group divisions. Points earned 10 deep in each age group. * Points from the best 6 races for individuals will be scored. * Tellico Summer Solstice Sprint Triathlon & Atomic Sprint Triathlon each earn DOUBLE POINTS * If points are earned in more than 6 races then the best 6 scores will be used.

Points are awarded as follows: 1st place, age division 2nd place, age division 3rd place, age division 4th place, age division 5th place, age division 6th place, age division 7th place, age division 8th place, age division 9th place, age division 10th place, age division (Clydesdale/Athena 1-10 also) 10 points 9 points 8 points 7 points 6 points 5 points 4 points 3 points 2 points 1 points
