About this Race Series

The River to River Runners hosts several races across Southern Illinois each year. We have always been curious of who has performed the best at our races.

So beginning in 2018, we have developed the River to River Runners Championship Series. At each of our races, except the River to River Relay, each participant who finishes in the running division will receive points. 1st Male/Female gets 100 points, 2nd gets 95, 3rd gets 90 and so on. However anyone who finishes will get at least 5 points.

Then at the end of the year, the male and female with the most accumulated points over their 6 best scores will be the River to River Runners Series Champion.

How to enter? - Just run our races, they will become available on this page when their registration is open.

All participants of our events will score points, however if you are not a club member on December 31st of this year, you and your score will be removed from the standings. So if you're not a member, please join here: https://runsignup.com/Club/IL/Herrin/RivertoRiverRunners2

What's up for grabs? Bragging rights, a cool award given out at our annual membership in Jan/Feb and free entry to all club races the following year!! Sorry but the River to River Relay is not included in this....yet.
