About this Race Series
We love this city. We plaster C-L-E all over our merch, our banners, and even our buildings. Those that haven't visited in 20 years call it the Mistake on the Lake but we know better. From the murals, to the food, to the cafes, and events, you would be hard pressed to find a city as fun and affordable as our very own. And to celebrate this city, we have the 'Reasons for Cleveland' Series. A series that encourages you to get off your butt and move! From running, to biking, to hiking, and more, the Reasons for Cleveland Series challenges you to get involved.
Participants will earn points for points in our standard road races but also for exploring other sports like climbing, triathlon, trail running, hiking, biking, stand-up paddle board, and whatever else we find!
How Scoring Works
Scoring will be based on the following metrics:
- Distance of the event
- Place within Age Group
- Participation in Event
The scoreboard will NOT represent official standings. Some events are by participation and calculated on the official scoring spreadsheet that will be released quarterly. Follow our updates on RunTheLand.com for scoring, additional events that count as points and more!
