Upstate Race Series has been hosting a wide range of trail and road events since 2013. Welcome to the Upstate Road Series — a dynamic and expansive 13-event race series that takes runners on a thrilling journey through the scenic landscapes of Upstate South Carolina. This series is not just about the miles covered; it's a celebration of the vibrant running community that thrives in this picturesque region. This competitive point series includes several events across the Upstate. You score points by finishing each race and by placing in the top 10 of your age group.
You are entered in the age group category based on your age as of December 31st of the current year. You may still place in your current age group category for individual races, but the series is scored based on your end-of-year age. Athletes are automatically entered into the series when they register for any race and are scored automatically by our timing software. To ensure automatic scoring, please use the same RunSignUp profile.
Maximum of 5 races can score. If you compete in more than 5 races, we will take your top 5 finishes.

We recognize our top 3 award winners at the end of the year at our Annual Awards Ceremony, with awards made by Hickory Handcrafted.
