About this Race Series
Welcome to the Inaugural Bakersfield Classic Events Series! We are pleased to bring a competitive race series back to Kern County
There are 7 races in the Bakersfield Classic Runner of the Year Series. Runners will be scored in the following divisions:
Open - 0 - 39
Masters 40 - 49
Grand Masters 50 & up
1st place runner in the race division will receive 30, 20 or 10 points, according to the event's allotted points, 2nd place runner will receive 29, 19 or 9 points, according to the event's allotted points and so down to 1 in each point race. At the end of the year the 1st, 2nd & 3rd place runners in each division will receive a special prize and recognition! 1ST PLACE IN EACH DIVISION WILL RECEIVE THE CLASSIC RUNNER OF THE YEAR PRESTIGIOUS JACKET!
No need to register as everyone will be eligible to accumulate points automatically!
And...Please be consistent with your name, Michael is different than Mike, Janice is different than Jan, etc. If you change your name please let us know. No corrections of names will be allowed after 30 days following each event.
