Let’s #UniteAgainstCancer!
In October 2024, Amanda, our dedicated COPH Academic Operations Officer, was diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer. Since then, she has faced her diagnosis with incredible strength and grace, beginning a rigorous cancer treatment plan that includes chemotherapy, multiple surgeries, and radiation. Amanda is not just a valued team member, she is a proud New Mexican, a devoted wife and mother of three, and has been a compassionate presence in our campus community for decades. Even now, amid her battle, she continues to work remotely, showing the same determination and commitment that she has always given of herself.
We're joining together to raise funds and awareness for the 2025 Lobo Cancer Challenge and we need your support. Will you help us reach our goal by joining our team and fundraising with us, or by making a tax-deductible donation? It’s fast and easy to do, and many will benefit from your generosity.
Every dollar of the funds we raise together go directly to fight cancer. The generosity of people like you helps with cancer patient support and advanced cancer research at The University of New Mexico Comprehensive Cancer Center, which delivers world-class cancer care to the people of New Mexico.
Thank you for supporting us! Together we can make a difference.
