You're walking or running your way to making a tangible difference in the lives of our housing unstable neighbors -- helping them remain in or move into a safe, warm, and comfortable home. 

As you engage in conversation with your friends and family about The Haven, housing instability, and homelessness, consider and share how supporting your fundraise has an impact on our neighbors: 

• $50 covers a rental application fee, a key step to accessing housing
• $200 pays for a hot and nutritious breakfast meal one morning, serving upwards of 100 people
• $400 heats the Day Shelter for a month, ensuring our unsheltered neighbors have a safe, warm place to be during these bitterly cold months
• $600 pays for a month's worth of showers (averaging 500 showers every month!), providing the human right to cleanliness and comfort
• $900 purchases a month's worth of cleaning supplies needed to maintain the clean comfortable environment that our guests deserve
• $3,000 covers the total move-in costs for a family in a two-bedroom apartment

For anyone in crisis, The Haven provides a space and the resources to meet their everyday human needs. As the only low-barrier day shelter in our area, thank you for ensuring our neighbors continue to have a warm, welcoming refuge!
