Dear Community Partner:
We are pleased to announce Miggy's Gift has partnered with the Village of Pinecrest and together, we will host our 7th annual melanoma walk on Sunday, November 9th, 2025, at Evelyn Greer Park located - 8200 SW 124 Street, Pinecrest, Florida 33156.
Guests will enjoy an educational stroll around the park, food, music, raffle prices, silent auction, face painting, art-in-the-park, photo booth, games, and a very special surprise for the children. In addition, we will also offer free skin checks and the opportunity to speak with dermatology healthcare professionals from Baptist Health Cancer Care and Nicklaus Hospital-Children's Skin Center. The event provides a wonderful opportunity for families to learn about sun safety, while enjoying a family fun filled morning at the park. In the past, attendance has been between 250-300 people. This year due to the partnership with Pinecrest, we are expecting a much larger crowd.
At Miggy's Gift we are committed to educating children and young adults about the dangers of skin cancer, the importance of prevention, and the urgency of early detection. We do this by visiting schools, colleges, summer camps, and community health fairs. In addition, we financially and emotionally assist families who have a child struggling with a cancer diagnosis. Lastly, in memory of Stephen "Miggy" Chavez, over the last seven years we have granted over $30,000 in scholarships to Miami Dade College students participating in the video game design and animation track. We hope to continue this initiative many more years.

Platinum Level Sponsor - $3,000.00 - Your company logo will appear at Start/Finish lines of the walk, on the Thank You banner displayed at the event, on all social media posts leading to the event, and we will provide you with a 10X10 tent, table, and 2 chairs if you wish to participate at the event.
Gold Level Sponsor - $2,000.00 - Your company logo will appear at the Snacks and Refreshment tent, on the Thank You banner displayed at the event, and on social media posts leading to the event.
Silver Level Sponsor $1,000.00 - Your company logo will appear on the Thank You banner displayed at the event, and on social media posts leading to the event.
Bronze Level Sponsor $500.00 - Your company logo will appear on the Thank You banner displayed at the event.
Pewter Level Sponsor - Any company, retail store, restaurant, small business, or individual person that provides a donation for the silent auction or provides a free service during the planning period leading up to the event with a value of less than $500 - Your company logo will appear on the event website.
