"Be Your Own Hero"
The event includes a stroll around the park covering 1/3 mile. The route is marked with educational signs including information and statistics about adult and pediatric skin cancer. The walk ends at the gazebo which will serve as our staging area. You will be greeted by music, food, raffle prizes, face painting, games, art, a silent auction, a photo booth, and free skin checks sponsored by Baptist Health Cancer Care. We will wrap up the morning with a huge surprise for the kids. This is truly an opportunity for families to learn about sun safety while enjoying a fun filled morning at the park with their families. The event is free, but we do appreciate donations.
