Each finisher receives a soft and wonderful Beer City shirt, a Beer City tasting glass, a custom bib, and the coveted Key Beer City medal.
Yes indeed there is beer. As much as you like. We will have a house pour with Lagunitas, East Brother, and Fieldwork. We expect a handful of our friends to be there as well. There will also be post-race treats and drinks. The post race party closes at noon and we head out for fun together at the nearby breweries.
Our policy at Beer City is called Forver Forgiving. It allows you to defer your registration to any of our other events at any time. You can also transfer your race to a friend. No questions asked. Your race credit is good for up to a year. Here is a little tutorial on how to manage your registration.
The only catch is we don't offer cash refunds under any circumstance. Please consider purchasing race insurance. This is exactly what it's here for. It's available when you register.
The Top Dog Dash is a .5 mile trot with your pup. It starts at 12:30pm during our Shindig. Dashers receive a 2 drink pass for Shindig.
Beer City practices radical acceptance of deferrals and transfers. We call our policy Forever Forgiving. You can defer or transfer at any time up until race day (but not after the race has taken place.) This includes gifting your registration to a friend.
Here are your options. You can:
- Defer until next year's race. We sign you up automatically after registration opens for next year's race.
- Transfer your race to a friend. They can come and enjoy a good time.
- Transfer to any other Beer City between now and a year from now. You join us in the future!
