Track Friday

The Sunset House is a community outreach ministry that provides palliative (comfort) care for those beyond curative or aggressive treatment. The resident maintains control and is assisted through this time of transition. We are there to support, so as to decrease the stress and anxiety of the residents and their families.

At the Sunset House, we offer a dedicated staff of health professionals and volunteers 24 hours/7 days a week. We address each resident’s physical, spiritual, emotional, and social needs to make every day count. Our desire is to provide a home setting of personal care and warmth where death can be approached as symptom-free as possible. We do not hasten or postpone death but treat it as a natural part of life.

We are a privately incorporated, not-for-profit, home for the care of the terminally ill. The Sunset House does not receive funding from government agencies or third-party payments from insurance. 100% of all our funding comes from charitable sources.
