The 2nd Annual Ocean View STORM THE BAY Race Series -Presented by the Tidewater Striders Running Club and the SEA2C Foundation

Mixed surface course consisting of paved roadways and beach sand. There will be a 2 wave start- Competitors 1st wave, non-competitors 2nd. All competitors are REQUIRED to successfully complete all of the obstacle course challenge stations or they will be disqualified. Non-competitive runners will not be eligible for race prizes. 1st place will be awarded to the top female and female winner. There are no points for second place!

This event is 100% FREE for kids 12 and under!

Nothing screams “Send it!” like a fun and challenging 1 mile long kids' fun run with an assortment of obstacles and PT challenges along the way… on the beach! Bragging rights, cool medals, and sugar cookies are waiting for all you kiddos! Finisher's medals awarded to the first 200 registrants!

All children must be accompanied on site by a parent or legal guardian. Parents or legal guardians are welcome to accompany and assist their child on the race obstacle course. Please consider making a minimum $10 donation to the SEAcoast2Coast Foundation to help us keep this event free for kids for our future kid's races!

You have until 12:00 PM, December 31, 2023 to complete the Storm the Bay 5K Challenge. Since this is a virtual race, unless you create your own, there will be no obstacle course for the virtual challenge. In the alternative, you will need to run the entire 5K on a beach or trail to compensate! Once you submit your timing and photo proof of where you ran, you will receive your finisher's medal and shirt by US mail or local pick up if you are in the Hampton Roads Virginia area.

You have until 12:00 PM, December 31st, 2023 to complete the Storm the Bay 10K Challenge. Since this is a virtual race challenge, you will need to run at least 4 miles of the 6.2 miles on a beach or trail to compensate! Once you submit your timing and photo proof of where you ran, you will receive your finisher's medal and shirt by US mail or local pick up if you are in the Hampton Roads Virginia area.

Run the 5K Challenge and 10K Back-to-Back on Saturday for a total of 9.3 miles!!! All competitors are REQUIRED to successfully complete all of the obstacle course challenge stations or they will be disqualified.

To complete the OV/OG Challenge, On Saturday the 14th, the participants have 1 hour to complete the Storm the Bay Challenge with obstacle courses, and be at the start line, ready to run and complete the Storm the Bay 10K at 9:00 AM.

Non-competitive runners will not be eligible for race prizes. 1st place will be awarded to the top female and female winner. There are no points for second place!
