Description
Rec & Resurgence will bring to you a yearly fitness, fun and outdoor recreation festival hosted this year on Saturday, July 16, 2022. Each year will have a different feel and course.
Hosted in scenic Johnstown, Pennsylvania, Rec & Resurgence (R&R) is not your average Obstacle Course Race (OCR). R&R is designed to challenge everyone from the elite to the beginners with workout stations scattered throughout the course.
There is a full body workout field and a run/walk wave for people that just want to come out and have fun! The course will cover roughly 4 miles and will feature many of Johnstown's local landmarks including and finishing at CrossFit Excursion's facility, by the Johnstown Train Station and Point Park.
The day will start with an OCR format around Downtown Johnstown with stations at various landmarks. Afterwards, there will be a post-race celebration with beverages, food trucks and live bands!
