First of all, thank you for even considering volunteering with Gold Rush! Our crew has been putting on races since 1999 and we're stoked to bring the energy back for another year.

We're a nonprofit and we put together these events because we genuinely love facilitating an adventure for others. It takes a lot of help to make something like this happen, and we’re incredibly grateful to everyone who gives their time and energy to be part of it.

Volunteering is also a really fun way to experience the event. There is so much excitement and energy throughout the day, and it’s super rewarding to create a day we'll all remember. Not to mention the race is held in the most beautiful place in the world...

There are a lot of ways to help including registration, race headquarters, checkpoints, transitions, medical support, photography, course preparation, and cleanup. In the questionnaire, just let us know when you’re available, what sounds fun to you, and if you have any particular skills or experience that could help. Whether you can give us a few hours or the whole day, we’re grateful!

We also make sure volunteers are fueled with breakfast, coffee, lunch, dinner, and some swag throughout the weekend.
