Friends, Family, and Fellow Zoo-Enthusiasts,
On June 8th I will run to support one of my favorite Chicago institutions: the Lincoln Park Zoo.
The LPZ introduces, educates, and connects millions of visitors *every year* to the environment, and supports research and conservation initiatives around the world. As one of the oldest zoos in the country - and the longest running free zoo - the zoo and LP campus is a special place that welcomes neighbors near and far to delight in learning about the world we share. I'm grateful to have such a marvelous amenity in my city.
Please join me in celebrating this wonderful place and the 1100 (non-human) animals that call it home!
